Education Webinars

The Western Massachusetts Veterans Outreach Project works in collaboration with our community partners to plan and implement continuing education courses in our region.  These sessions are free and are designed for emergency medical technicians, first responders, physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, mental health providers, and veterans’ services representatives, and anyone who works with or helps veterans of military service and their family members.

 

In 2022, the Project, together with Baystate Health, conducted a series for area providers on several topics of interest related to military families and Veteran health care. The full playlist can be found here:

In addition, the Defense Health Agency, part of the United States military health system, offers offering Continuing Education and Continuing Medical Education accredited content to all health care providers.  The DHA’s Clinical Communities Speaker Series is designed to address gaps in learning related to the delivery of care for those who are a part of the military and veteran community.
