About Us

The Western Massachusetts Veterans Outreach Project was created to educate and inform our community about the unique circumstances of military service and to foster in care providers a greater understanding of the physical and mental health needs of our Veterans.

The Project works in collaboration with local, state, and federal organizations that include community providers and non-profit organizations.

We schedule, host and support community outreach events and educational seminars to expand the knowledge base of community providers, health care professionals, and the military community including Veterans and their family members.

We publish newspaper and journal articles that describe events and trends in the Veteran community and how civilian care provider communities can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their services.

We provide our state and local legislators with resource information about Veterans and their families and help develop legislative initiatives that could potentially benefit Veterans.
